So I did the flush that day, and I assume it went well. It was my first time doing it and I experienced everything they said I would. It was a little difficult drinking a liter of salt water in 5 minutes though.

I weigh 135lbs. Yesterday, I managed to stick with 160 calories for the entire day! I was very proud!

    I am a 24 year old mother of three children and I am suffering from severe unintentional weight loss. I am experiencing dizziness, complete lack of energy, my head hurts everyday, I am constipated most of the time, I have no muscle mass left, my stomach is completely bloated after every meal making me look pregnant (its the only part of my body that looks half normal), my clothes fall off of me, I get made fun of for being too skinny, my nails are starting to turn very coarse, my hair is dried out, my skin is drying up...the list goes on. Ive done my research about food, health, disorders, weight loss/gain. My body is dieing and I eat like a horse. I can imagine what your symptoms will be like once you have drained out all vitamins essential for your health.   2. As much as I think this is all so fucked up... I want to be an anorexic so bad! Before you guys judge me, let me try to tell you my story. I was a pretty normal kid (in everything including weight). I was a happy, active kid. Then my mom died. I was left all alone with my dad who was old enough to be my grampa, and even though I know he's a good person, he was conservative and kind of mean (he always thought I was stupid for thinking I was as smart/smarter than a man-never said it but I felt it- not to mention OMG you're a slut if you don't save it for marriage, blablabla).So, I started comfort eating. I was 11 and I didn't even know there was a name for it! But all of a sudden classmates that always treated me as an equal started bullying me, simply cause I had gained weight. It was bad. It wasn't just one or two jokes, They called me a retard (even tho my grades were excellent), they told me my mom should've aborted me. Anyway, first year of highschool I was actually strong enough to make it. I got down to 116 (size 4 and I loved it, I will never be a size 0 because I don't have a narrow frame, but I really did feel sexy as a size 4). Years went by, I am now a size 10. I HATE IT, ALL the feelings of innadequacy are coming back, and even tho I don't consider myself an anorexic I know that if you can't help counting cals then there's def. something wrong with you: I DO count cals all the time. But I keep eating a buttload of carbs, I'm not strong enough yet. Is it too effed up that I want to be an anorexic? Maybe. But at least they're strong. I'm in no effing man's land,

    3. don't start. this is called an ILLNESS for a reason. I understand that you feel desperate to lose the weight and the anxiety eats at you because you don't know any other way to lose weight quickly. But it's not worth it. It will never be worth it. Lets say you stop eating? Every single bite of food that you have is going to make you as bloated as a huge dinner. Your metabolism will nearly stop. You can eat healthy. Count calories and keep them in a HEALTHY range. Don't stop eating. Your mom wouldn't want that for you. Work out and get healthy the right way for Her. And once you have to go into therapy for an eating disorder think about the amount of money you'll have to spend... These sites fuck with your mind. Get off of them because I promise you I wish I'd never laid eyes on one.

    4. I was anorexic for 8 years and escaped Ana's grasp only 2 years ago. It nearly killed me and I'm fortunate to be alive. It has left me with permanent health problems, including a weakened immune system, which means I'm constantly sick. And the haunting thoughts of inadequacy and 'fatness' don't go away regardless of your physical health. It's a mental illness. It's not a glamorous diet that you stop once you've reached a certain point. It grabs ahold of you and doesn't let go. 2 years later I'm still trying to figure out who I am without Ana as my identity.

    Let me tell you my story. As a freshman I played 3 varsity sports (basketball, volleyball, track). I was healthy and loving life. But then I decided I wanted to be thinner, and refuse to eat after practice. It escalated until I had no energy for games or practice. If I ate with my team after a game, I'd throw it up. I became weak, lost all of my muscle mass, and my starting position in basketball because I could no longer preform as I use to be able to. I went to the doctor and fixed my problem. That was 3 years ago. I am now a senior; I am 5'11'', and 135 lbs. You guys probebly think my 135 lbs is fat, but I am healthy and happy. My boyfriend who is in the Air Force thinks my fit (not skinny, fit), and athletic body with my curves are hot. I love having the energy I have, love being able to go on runs and not feel like I am going to collapse, love eating a bowl of ceral without feeling guilty. And guess what? I look better as a fit athlete than I ever did as an anorexic girl.

    FITTER, NOT THINNER, should be your goal. Channel you time and energy into being fit. Give your body the energy it needs to function.

    Do you want to look like a Holocaust victim? Do you WANT to look like a Warsaw prisoner? Trust me; its not worth it.

    And finally, has Sir-Mix-Alot every released a song called "Baby got her backbone showing through her stomach"? No.

    Seriously. Cut out carbonation and excessive sugar or whatever, but eat your meals. Go for a run, do squats, planks, and other exercises. Just don't destroy your body and life through anorexia and bulimia.

    1. you have to be very strict with yourself. try hiding all junk foods such as candy, cereal, anything with fat. When you go to the store don't buy anything unhealthy or anything you like even if it is healthy don't get anything you like. cuz then you won't eat it and you will become skinnier. Also when you r thinking of food tell yourself you need to clean or take a nap. also you can ask your guardian to sign you up for a sport. my parents signed me up for swim and it has made me loose so much especially because you need to get yourself to be stronger it makes you loose weight.

  19. It sounds like you've had to endure some very traumatic experiences at such a young age. Have you ever heard of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)? This might be where some of your anxiety is coming from because PTSD damages the wiring of the brain. Some people with PTSD develop eating disorders as a way to cope. I also have PTSD after my neighbour harmed me and he got away with it because he lied to police. One thing in life I can control is my own eating and exercise program. That's one way I cope with PTSD. Another thing that helps to some degree is Meditation and Yoga. To try to focus on the "Present Moment". Over time, meditation can improve coherence in the brain (neuroplasticity) to help a person feel more calm and happy. Also, keeping busy to distract my thoughts as much as possible. Thank you for sharing your tips and I hope you find a way to heal from your trauma. You have a whole life ahead of you and have a lot of potential.

  23. I do not have anorexia, so I may not understand. Please, please don't do this to yourself. Being thin shouldn't be your only goal. Think back to when you were in Kindergarten, remember when you were asked what you wanted to be? I doubt you said you wanted to thin. I remember I wanted to be an astronaut, reach your goals that you had before you let ana take over. Starving yourself will not get you anywhere. You will eventually die. What is the point of being thin if you are dead? The health way: exercise, eating healthy, spending time doing things you love with people you love is the better way to be thin. I know it isn't that easy, but please get help. Go to the doctor or your friends or family. Please get help. You are stronger than this and you will get over ana. Tell someone and get your life back from ana. I know I sound like a motivational speaker, but I promise you can get over this is you just tell someone who can help. Happy girls are the prettiest.

    9. As Ive make a diet, i was quiet simply addictive to leave in me the difficult, to stand holding the hunger. I had, as i since days had not more ate, funnily have no hunger and so much hunger if ive make thoughs about the food. My thoughs have simply leave there dispose. But i really dont care, what all to me is coming. Ive simply love the difficult. Ive simply like, if sometimes was nothing happen and it another time geting so intensive. Ive also really like, if full catty on one time to threat a friesattack. Ive also love to fight with the friesattack. That have give me a happyness. It was simply my passion such battles fight with my anorexia. That was also the important think to get also always better, full simply to surrender the fight versus the hunger, if he come. You must it simply love to fight versus them and how a soldier every to be primed to fight versus the hunger, if he come anytime. You must easily have fun on them versus him to advance and you must also every go with your training. You can every leave on your plan and if any come in the way, then have fun to clearing it from the way. Then this is the important think for true strength. I mustnt chewing chewing gun and i mustnt take lozenge. But without them, its sometimes really disagreeable to hold back. Ive in the meantime, how ever else less move. But else Ive so really all of them what after there standing made. But I was in the meantime actually not sad. Rage attacks was i think worser. But ive thereby however not often eating. Ive not have needfully to eat somethink, to appease me again. Ive held it out good without food. Its actually dont care, how its looking with your body. Be simply in you super. Its dont care, how it now looking, you can get a really wunderful, legendary, skinny, muscular elf, if you only have enough willpower and endurance. Stay every here!

  30. i know that being pro-ana is really looked down upon and being anorexic is too but im starting to gain weight really fast and ive been depressed for so long... i was abused by my older brother and thats what started my depression when i was five. i have ADHD and i was so alienated for it before i was medicated and ive always been a real loner. i have always wanted to be a singer but everyone told me i was so bad at it and crushed my dream even though i was so young and have improved so much since then. my mom cheated on my dad and forced to move to different state with her so she could be with her boyfriend and my dad got remarried a week later. i hate my moms boyfriend but i cant live with my dad anymore, i can only visit on holidays and in the summer. i barely talk to anyone anymore and my dad got rid of our dogs that loved so much and im a huge animal person. i lie about my life to so many people and i find it so hard to feel anything but sadness. my mom stopped takeing me to theropy(witch i need) and hasnt said a word about it. i weigh 124 lbs and i feel so fat all the time.. my dad is the owner of a popular fitness place and ive always been skinny and strong but how i am i going to make him proud of me when im the one whos not a black belt and the only one who doesnt box. please email me with thinsporation at 209fuzz4@gmail.com because i need it too, thankyou

  41. Everyone fighting an eating disorder for years would agree with me when I say that it makes me sad to read this... I assume you are still quite young and have no idea that you are ruining your life. I am not exaggerating. I am fighting it for more than ten years now, the compulsion to destroy my body, and if there is anything I learned in my years of therapy then it is that once you crossed the line you can never go back. I am deadly serious. And I know that you probably do not care at the moment, because that is exactly what you want: you never want to go back. But do you really never want to be able to eat normal again? Anorexia nervosa is an illness, a very serious one, not just another diet. It will never let go of you again. And I know that one day you will regret that you did not stop straight away. And you will definitely regret that you were posting these things on this blog, because you will feel guilty for all the harm and pain you might have caused others in doing so because they might have followed you're example. I hope you think about that....

    1. When I was in weight loss, I was simply addicted to me the difficulty let in, resist the cravings. I had, as I had not eaten in days, strangely enough was not hungry, which was as big as I've been thinking about the taste of the food. My thoughts have also slightly then there. But shit, what is come up to me. I just loved this difficulty. It gave me just clicked, sometimes when nothing was going on and it another time was so intense. I enjoyed it quite well fitted, when all at once insidiously threatened this overeating. I loved it even fight me with the overeating. This has given me simple joy. It was just my passion fight such battles with my anorexia. That was also the decisive factor to also become better and better, quite easy to make the fight against hunger, if he shows up. You just have to love to fight against it and as a soldier always be expaned it to fight against hunger, if he shows up at some point. You just have to have fun to take action against him and you also have to always start with your training. You can always at your plan and if something is in the way, then have fun with it it out of the way. The this is crucial for true strength. So chew gum and lozenges, I did not take. But without that, it's sometimes really uncomfortable to hold back. I have in the meantime, as otherwise hardly ever moves me. But I have amsonsten just about everything from what afterwards stands there, done, I was being sad in the meantime, not really. Tantrums were a bit worse I think. But I did, however, will not equal eaten so. I have not necessarily had food needed to calm down again. I came without good food at right. You will gagged and it comes in your mouth a funnel into it and then you have everything neat and smell for hours while because you are addicted to all this shit. Imagine the sound ago where liquid shit flow in your mouth and for you there is no escape from it, if you're greedy. So you can imagine it you if you try to resist Fa. Let the really into you, to repel you the Feeding Frenzy while the waiver.

    Anti Feeding Frenzy Exercise 3

    Should not be sufficient imagination, just make a discovery trip to jucky things that might help you in the battle against binge eating, for example take your mustard, soap, shower gel, toothpaste, salt or expired food. Tu also smell any stench or observe any worms and snails. Mix next to your favorite high-calorie spoke smelly or ecklige ingredients to mix, so that you easily do you with your ideas. Maybe your head like you persuade over again that food tastes good.   44. Resistance Exercise 2

    1. If you don't want to be fat, you don't have to be. However, the most important piece of advice that anyone could give you is to stop looking at this blog immediately and stop looking at any blogs like it. This is not a healthy lifestyle.

      It will take time but if you want to be slim and healthy then you have to accept it will take time. If you want to be thin and unhealthy then go ahead, do it. But the difference could be many, many years of your life. By which I mean, choosing the time consuming "slim" method of a healthy, balanced diet which becomes a habit for life could lead to a healthy life which could last for decades longer than the life you will live as an anorexic. That method is not in any way, shape or form, healthy. That is the truth of the matter.

      If somebody tells you it is healthy, they are lying to you to make themselves feel better about what they are doing to their bodies.

      Also, if you're husband is nagging you about your weight because he thinks it makes you unattractive to him then maybe he's not the best guy for you (harsh but the truth hurts). On the other hand, if it's because he loves you, wants you to be healthier and live longer by his side, then he is most definitely the right man for you.

    1. Let me give you some advice that might help you with your weight loss:

      I'm assuming you are a woman.

      Eat 1400 calories per day, made up of a balance of all the food groups (INCLUDING FAT AND CARBOHYDRATES!)

      Exercise 3 days a week with at least one rest day in between.

      Track all the food you eat and if you eat more than 1400 calories, then don't fret.

      Most of all - "Beauty" is completely objective. What one finds beautiful, another will not. If you are doing this because you think you're ugly and no one could ever love you then stop and think again. You are not ugly. You are a beautiful human being. Somebody loves you, and anybody who doesn't love you because you look a certain way doesn't deserve to love you. End of.

      Please, have a rethink. Don't lose weight as quickly as possible because that will more than likely end up in a ludicrous bounceback and you'll be even heavier than before, which I think is not want you want. If you lost that 2lb every week (yes it will take more time, but you get nothing that you don't put effort in for) then it is much more likely to stay off and will result in a habit of healthy eating.

      Once again, PLEASE DON'T GO THROUGH WITH DEVELOPING AN EATING DISORDER. It will take over your life because it is an addiction and one that is very hard to get out of. You will regret it. You may not think you will but when you find yourself on your deathbed, 5 or 10 (or even many more!) years earlier than anybody should, you will not look at yourself and think "At least I'm dying beautiful and skinny", you will think "I have gone from one extreme to another. I have only myself (and maybe that shit ana blog) to blame for what I've done to myself. I wish I wasn't dying."

    I have been struggling and searching for so long to find a legitimate pro-ana website. The searches have for months only taken me to websites that are disguised as pro-ana but are actually just generic weight loss guidance sites - so frustrating! Please to all of you girls with anorexia nervosa, you don't have to do calorie restrictions and eat essentially nothing to look skinny or like a model etc. you can achieve a healthier goal with better results with exercise, proper eating habits and an overall healthy lifestyle. I do understand why you turn to this option, I've often thought of doing it myself (I'm 16) but plz no that's it's the wrong way to go- email me if you would like to get the same results (flat stomach, thigh gaps, collarbones showing etc.) and I'll help you do it healthy. You are all beautiful, and of course we want to look this way on the outside, but there's healthier ways to do it and get even better results- so chins up and reach for a better lifestyle :)

    At 5'7", I weigh less than that, and I easily consume 2000 calories a day.

    I really hope that other girls don't read your site and get sucked into your unhealthy way of being and thinking.

  75. I think people misjudge why a lot of people do this. We are talking about food which I'm not surprised given that this is a pro Ana site. But a lot of people feel the need to starve themselves because there is something in their lives that they feel needs to be in control. For me, it's not about the food; it's about proving to myself that I'm not weak and that I can do whatever I set my mind to. And it's about showing my dad how much his words affect me; maybe this is the only way he will ever listen to me. Don't think I'm a hater for this site; I really do enjoy reading it but I also wouldn't call it a lifestyle either. It's a disorder but it's also a form of self harm even if people don't really "choose" it. I mean, I do the same thing and I don't want to cause any trouble here. I just want to say to all the haters that it's not all about weight loss and food; it's deeper emotional problems that many of us don't reveal. I hope that makes sense.
